The C.S.I Institute of Technology is a Christian Minority Institution, established in 1995 by the church of south India (C.S.I), Kanyakumri Diocese. It is a pioneer in the field of education and successfully running Arts and Science Colleges, Polytechnic College, Industrial Training Institutes, Nursing College, Pharmacy College, Number of Primary, Higher Secondary Schools, Hospitals, Deaf and Dumb School, Blind School and Day Care Centers in Kanyakumari District.
The CSIIT has been established for imparting high quality engineering education to the students. Its ultimate goal is to emphasize Christian moral values and to mould every student to become fit to face the challenges of advancing technology.

PLACEMENT CELL
This cell is headed by the Chief Placement and Training Officer ably assisted by the department’s placement officers.The primary role of the placement and Training Cell is to secure placements for the students passing out from the college.This cell keeps close liasion with various industrial establishments and conducts campus interviews.
As a result of campus and off campus placement drives, the cell has been able to achieve about 50 placements in in reputed firms viz. HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES, Vi MICRO SYSTEMS, CTS, WIPRO, DPS TECHNOLOGIES, SUTHERLAND, AYOKIFABNCON etc.
