Mohamed Sathak Engineering College is the first self-financing engineering college to earn the approval of the government of Tamilnadu (vide G.O.Ms.No.1088, Education dated 21.08.1984). In 1984, Madurai Kamaraj University granted affliation for conducting Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
